Editorial Reviews:

See your golf game as you never have before. See what it takes to improve consistency and performance on the links. Golf Anatomy will show you how to lower your score by increasing strength, power, and range of motion for longer drives and more accurate shots.

Golf Anatomy includes 72 of the most effective exercises, each with step-by-step descriptions and full-color anatomical illustrations highlighting muscles in action.

Golf Anatomy goes beyond exercises by placing you at the tee, on the fairways, and on the greens. You’ll see how to improve mobility, stability, body awareness, and muscle strength to add distance to drives, consistency to your short game, and accuracy to your putts.

From sand traps to awkward lies, Golf Anatomy will prepare you for even the most challenging of shots. Plus, you’ll learn how to stay at the top of your game with targeted injury-prevention exercises for the lower back, elbows, wrists, shoulders, and hips.

Combining expert instruction with beautiful, full-color illustrations, Golf Anatomy is truly an inside look into the game. Whether you’re a scratch golfer or simply a fan of the game, this book is a hole-in-one.

With color anatomical illustrations to each golf move, this is a top pick! Aug 14, 2010

GOLF ANATOMY provides a fine review of the anatomy and muscles required to become a good golfer. It provides keys to increasing strength and power for longer drives and more accurate shots, considering the physical elements that contribute to consistent performance. With color anatomical illustrations to each golf move, this is a top pick!

Too Overwhelming for Recreational Players Jun 28, 2010

This book presents a catalog of seventy-two exercises for those intent on developing a tour quality golf swing. Unfortunately, it fails to offer a useful limited program for those recreational players whose ambitions are more realistic.

The book is handsomely illustrated and I enjoy paging through it while watching television. Meanwhile, I will continue swimming and playing golf with the body I pretty much have. The difference between 82 and 72 isn't all that important, at least not to me.

Excellent Jun 21, 2010

I have been a casual golfer now for over 15 years. I decided last year to start working on improving all aspects of my game. I had been growing frustrated lately with my lack of progress until a friend recommended this book to me. I have been doing the exercises outlined in this book for six weeks now. There is a marked improvement in my posture upon address of the ball and balance during my swing. This has translated into more consistent ball striking and lower scoring. It has reignited a fire to improve my swing and ball striking. I am excited to experience the progression in my game, as I progress through this book.

A must have for any golfer! Jun 21, 2010

I am a Pilates instructor who specializes in corrective exercise. I've been using this program with my golfing clients who suffer from chronic back pain, stiffness, restrictions in the hips, etc. and the results are amazing! They've seen improvements in all aspects of their game. I especially like the diagrams and the way each exercises targets specific aspects of the golf swing. This program will improve your overall strength and fitness which will not only affect your game but your quality of life as well!

Golf Anatomy Jun 16, 2010

I'm a PGA golf professional and Titleist Performance Institute Certified instructor. I find this book to be very accurate and illustrations are very clear. They break down the different topics in a very clear manner. If you follow this exercise manual you will make some great improvement. Two keys are flexibility with stability. This covers both and combines them to make your time more efficient. Great book!
